Baby Shower Theme Cute as a Button
I recently went to my sister-in-law’s baby shower. It was a baby shower theme cute as a button. It was sew cute. (Yes the pun was intended). There were many great ideas there where you could implement a baby time capsule and get others involved in the life long legacy gift they can give the future baby.
This was a simple, yet meaningful baby shower held at a senior citizen center, so please ignore the background, and take your inspirational ideas from the baby shower set-up ideas.
Where to set up a Baby Time Capsule at a Baby Shower?
As you can see from some of these photos, you can set up your baby time capsule anywhere at your baby shower. The ideas are endless. It depends on how you want to use your baby time capsule at the shower.
• At the guest sign-in, so guests can leave notes to the baby or future predictions of where the child will be 5, 10, or 20 years from now.
• At the snack table as decoration.
• At the gift table as decoration. You could even have the baby time capsule at the end of a long line of the baby clothes the mother-to-be wore when she was a baby. Now there is a time capsule moment to see. (as shown in the picture below).
• Set up the baby time capsule as one of the games to play at the baby shower. For example, fill the time capsule with buttons, or marbles and have guests decide how many are in the time capsule. You could also have a baby time capsule scavenger hunt game as we talked about in our previous blog at https://www.timecapsule.com/creative-baby-ideas/how-to-create-a-time-capsule-geocaching-baby-shower-game/.

I think I’d have guests record thoughts and stories about the mother-to-be. This is what they know, and it would uniquely capture who this person is NOW, which I think the child would find fascinating someday.
JenFW that is a great idea. That is why the Baby Time Capsule also comes with “Message to the Future” letters for your guests to record thoughts and stories about the mother-to-be, or make predictions about the future baby. Then years later, maybe when the child reads the letters about his or her mother, that will explain why he or she is the way he/she is too. What a laugh that will be that day. Such fun ideas! It would be really fun to see the mother’s baby clothes! The table decorations were so cute too. Thanks for sharing 🙂
