A Mother’s Story

She was told that she could not get pregnant. Then we received this phone call at The Original Time Capsule company. Learn why this mother is thankful for Thanksgiving and why she now needs a second Baby Time Capsule. Watch the touching video below, by clicking on this photo.

What are You Thankful For this Thanksgiving?

So what are you doing for Thanksgiving? In a minute I am going to tell you a story about a mother who was very grateful and thankful for life in general. Many times we take things for granted in life. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on things we are doing and their purpose in our lives, spend time with friends and family, and ultimately slow down as we all gather around a table of food and share memories.

I do not know about you, but the holidays seem to be the only time I can clean out closets in my house. Can you relate? Kids come home to visit you over the holidays, and you may still have their old favorite toys, school papers, music cd’s, or other nostalgic items in a box in their old bedroom closet or shoved in the garage somewhere. It seems like it became a family tradition for my parents to pull out old family photo albums, and find these boxes hidden like treasures in their house, whenever my brothers and I came home for the holidays. It was always an exciting moment to see what all they found this year, that they have piled up, waiting for us to come home and reminisce, then take it home when we leave, to help clean their house or closet. I think my parents still have my old bike I rode in high-school come to think of it. I will have to ask this Thanksgiving when I go visit them.

So, What Do You Do with Your Old Keepsakes?

Many times it is hard for us to throw things away sometimes. Do you still have your favorite outfit, which no longer fits in a closet, but you for some reason cannot throw away? I know I do. Someday I will lose the weight, and may be able to fit in it again. Can you relate to that excuse?

So as we go throughout our lives, how do we know what to save, give away, or throw away? It is a hard decision for many. That is why our company created the decorative and unique Baby and Wedding Time Capsule. Today we are concentrating on discussing the Baby Time Capsule, and knowing what to keep for your newborn baby. We suggest you keep the important milestone moment photos, and tangible items related to those moments in a time capsule. Keep heirloom mementos you want to pass on to your child when they are an adult.
